IMPORTANT NOTICE - DECISION OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE,EFI

Dear All,

  • Kindly refer to the email of the EC dated 01 April 2025 & Riders Forum held at APRC, New Delhi on 10 April 2025 attended by the riders, coaches, parents & OCs.
  • Yet once again, it has come to the notice of the EC that in direct defiance of the directions of the EC in the interest of athletes & growth of the sports and utter disregard to the laid down procedures, Col Jaiveer Singh (Retd) has misused the IT tools of EFI & hosted schedule of NQs on the EFI website.
  • It is for the information of the environment that Col Jaiveer Singh(Retd) has been suspended wef 11 April 2025 for dereliction of his duties, alleged illegal anti Federation activities & financial misconduct, pending investigation. He has not been authorised by the EC to host an unapproved schedule of events.
  • It is once again reiterated after due deliberations, keeping with the sentiments & demand of riders, coaches, parents & OCs, it was decided on 11 April 2025 EC meeting post riders forum that there will be no NQs & will be replaced by RELs based on technical guidelines of 01 Jan 2023.
  • Once again, it is reaffirmed that:-
    • (a) Any rider who has already qualified in the NQs will be considered as qualified.
    • (b) Further qualification will be at the RELs as per 2023 technical guidelines
    • (c) Even still if some rider doesn't qualify, there shall be an elimination round held before JNEC & Will be given extra chance to qualify even then.
  • Kindly note that if the events are organised on a format other than REL-2023 format shall be declared invalid & riders will be deemed "Not Qualified", all OCs to note for compliance, please.
